Who we are
A Coptic Orthodox home in North Orange County.
St. Mary & St. Verena is a Coptic Orthodox parish in Yorba Linda, California. We are a welcoming spiritual home for Coptic Orthodox families across North Orange County.
The Coptic Orthodox Church traces its roots to St. Mark the Evangelist and the Church of Alexandria in Egypt. That same ancient faith — its Divine Liturgy, its hymns, and its saints — is the life of our parish today. We gather for worship, grow in fellowship, and serve our neighbors together.
Our community is built on faith, service, and love. Ministries reach every age and stage — children, teens, young professionals, and women — so no one walks the life of faith alone.
What we do
Worship, fellowship & service
Worship
The Divine Liturgy is the heart of our week. We celebrate the Liturgy on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with hymns and church school on Saturday evenings.
Fellowship
Ministries for children, teens, young professionals, and women give every member a place to belong and grow in the faith together.
Service
Our parish serves the wider community through outreach and charitable ministry, and gathers each year for the St. Verena Festival.
Growing together
A growing parish family.
Our community continues to grow. A second priest joins our parish family in late 2026, and an approved master plan will expand our campus to better serve the years ahead.
